I played this game for about 20 minutes, realized that a lot of the time Spidey was swinging from nothing at all, then took it back to the video store.
Seriously, you can climb to the top of a skyscraper, do that web-catapult maneuver, and swing from thin air. Why can't they build off the simple things that made Spiderman 2 fun?
I bet you'd steal a few Rolexes if they were as easy to steal as PSP games.
I don't care about Tanner, but Driver is awesome. I'm excited.
I vote for Chris Evans.
Oh most definitely, I just don't think it's a radical change.
They made his hair slightly longer and darker, and it looks like they slimmed his face a bit. He looks different for sure - different enough for me to call it an improvement - but I still see the OG Cole in him.
I'm surprised people are so disappointed over this. It's not like Cole was an interesting character before. He was just the same brooding buzz-cut guy you see in every game. I don't get it - the dude grows half an inch of hair and people are disgusted.
He looks more like a regular guy now. I...like it? It's not a big deal.
Infamous was awesome, but it sure as hell wasn't because of Cole. If they want to change him up - great! Give the guy some personality.
Anyway, screw his outfit. I'm way more excited about it being set in a new city. New Orleans is a character itself.
"The title will supposedly 'modernize' the classic story, placing Daniel Craig in the role of Bond."
A.K.A. - It's going to suck because Activision has no respect for the film.
I'm amazed people would want a remake of anything this badly.
I don't get the appeal of it beyond seeing Final Fantasy 7 in pretty HD colors, and if that's all you want, you can turn off your brain and pop the movie in.
I was playing it last week. The shower head is the best weapon ever.
Why do so many people have a hard time with it? You can save in every area of the mall, and the timer shouldn't be a problem. If you can tell time, you can play Dead Rising.
People have been buying used games forever. How are they losing money?
The whole idea of holding half of a game for ransom is so incredibly greedy, it makes me doubt they're going to give any of this money to developers.
If this becomes the standard, I'm just gonna start stealing games.
This article is FAAAABULOUS!
Cole looks more like a real person now. If they recast him, that's even better, because that Batman-esque growling shit got on my nerves.
It's an easy mistake to make, seeing as this game seems to have jack shit to do with the original, but it's sad to see Red Dead Revolver get ignored.
This game takes itself WAY too seriously.
I don't think this is an issue. Did anyone really think Madden 06 and Dante's Inferno were going to look just like the commercials?
But, GODDAMN that Mortal Kombat 2 ad is awesome! I want a new one, right now.
I didn't take Resident Evil 5 that seriously, but I always thought the problem people had was how Africans were depicted. I mean, they look like zombies BEFORE they're turned into full-blown zombies.
Just look at this dude, he looks fucking scary even before he gets infected.
Either way, I was more offended by the reused sound effects and animations. Why'd it take so long for this game to come out? They didn't really do much.
I like how the Japanese Nazi porn was rated among the least offensive games.
This article comes off a bit self-congratulatory and douchey. As in, "I don't play immature children's 'video games,' I only experience adult interactive dramas."
It'd be more proper to call it, "shitty," or, "a piece of shit."
